My name is Kamal Subedi, and I am proud to be running for Council At-Large in the City of Reynoldsburg. As a long-time educator and engaged community member, I have spent years working closely with individuals and families from all walks of life. I currently serve as a Lecturer of Physics and Astronomy at Columbus State Community College, and my professional journey has included roles at Catholic Charities of Dallas, GE Appliances, and Bowling Green State University. These experiences have grounded me in both practical leadership and service-based values.

I am deeply committed to serving and representing the diverse voices of our community. My goal is to work tirelessly toward meaningful improvements, promote economic growth, and build a brighter, more inclusive, and prosperous future for every resident in Reynoldsburg. I believe in listening, learning, and acting—with the conviction that government should be responsive, transparent, and driven by the needs of everyday people.

My passion for public service stems from a lifelong interest in politics and a desire to make real, lasting change. I entered the political arena not out of ambition, but out of a calling to contribute to the betterment of my city. I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful policy and strong leadership can uplift communities—and I want to bring that same level of focus and care to the work of City Council.
